Africa Social Enterprise Forum 2009

Concept Creation

The African Social Enterprise Forum was conceived by Jerryanne Heath and Magogodi Makhene, forum co-Chairs who identified a need for action-oriented information and dialog about African social entrepreneurship among influential thought leaders and young professionals in NYC.  Jerryanne and Magogodi founded the African Social Enterprise Forum with a dedicated Executive Planning Committee.

Jerryanne Heath is the Founder and CEO of ConceptLink Consulting, a NYC based social impact events and communications company that helps international organizations strategically engage their stakeholders.  She also serves as an Executive Committe member of AngelAfrica.

Magogodi Makhene is co-Founder and Partner of Zenzele Circle, an angel investment network that targets high potential SME startups in sub-Saharan Africa.  She is a Catherine B. Reynolds Fellow for Social Entrepreneurship
